In quantum clusters, rates for different eigenstates can be provided and a net
generation and recombination rate will be calculated.

The quantum states are specified by a a certain threshold fraction
of psi2 within the region [x-left,x-right].
This is necessary for large quantum regions which extend far beyond the region
of interest and therefore have many irrelevant eigenstates.
The generation rate is proportional to netto_gen_rate * psiV(x)2
* Fermi_function(x).
